Stress kills fish

We have everything, but we are on this topic? Stress kills fish! Stress is not good things in large quantities, including our own, it is not surprising, therefore, to close at 1188.07 points, the fish. But how can I appear? Like all of us in the number of infections of fish in their blood, skin and gills, when most of our time, it has no effect. The body's defense system will be very happy.

Then we do something, stress and sleep-related infection is usually very good results.

You have to look for new fish, all cases of bad fish or white box. Let me guess, you have everything good, quarantine is still in progress.

Stress. Fish know that stress the importance of a variety of reasons, we must understand that if we are to reduce outbreaks of fish.

Take a long view of the test aquarium. Most of the best fish or swim in the local authorities, the same day, if the cold or the Middle East from top to bottom, I bet you most of the fish patrol in the same area.

And then introduced a new child block. Even a completely new group, they will need in the area. Well, if you're lucky, you fish in a democratic country, to sit down and discuss these issues a new label, no problem. However, they chase each other in tanks, the position of the game until one side or the other, and for smaller areas, and stressed in this regard.

Your sick fish, and the issue of speculation. You will soon decline in fish stocks and the flies, because you are a stranger in the tank.

Therefore, you can do to what? Stress! The majority of fish swimming in the same model. Therefore, the combined mode, you type the new. Mobile accessories or two new factories with new fish. New areas of the small area. However, it is not only the border point, and then add the fish.

I think you will be surprised. Your new and old fish faster, I bet, you will not receive any disease in the aquarium lobby. Give it a try, and finally have nothing to lose.

Planting date Fish Tank Maintenance

An effective system for the aquarium maintenance routine, that is the difference between success and a non-Tank Tank. It is very easy to do the routine maintenance of the week and even easier to forget things that should be done less often. It may seem superfluous, but I would always have a diary of things, so you know exactly what to do and when it is finished.

Your routine maintenance during the day, week, month and six months of its term, to ensure that you diarise with them, and you find that your fish and plants remain healthy and happy.

The daily tasks are more about perception than anything else. Of course, you eat fish on a daily basis to take this opportunity to give a look and make sure everything is in order. Have a quick staff to ensure that no one deceased, and still a threat to the premises to pollute the tank with a hint of ammonia.

Are they or are they normally eat. This may indicate a potential problem. While the tank, a glance at the thermometer. Is the temperature, as it should. And the water must remain constant.

Each week you should replace your water on hand for water changes. Use the 10% to 25% water change vacuum the substrate to remove non eaten food and fish waste. If there is a lot, you may need to feed fish. Clean the glass with a spatula algae. This is a good time for maintenance, removal of leaves and death and once again found that all began.

On a monthly basis, you need things like filter change, cleaning of filters. Do not change your filter media at all, make sure you have about half of them in the space for biological filters work.

Test for water quality every month once the reservoir matured, more often if you have any problems. Write the results, so you can see a trend in the area and the problems before them great.

Every six months, or you must use fluorescent tubes. You can always the same, but they lose power over time and should be amended so that your plants healthy.

Safety Tips for the establishment of the aquarium

An aquarium is not just fun. As the owner of the security measures installed to take account of the aquarium. Here are some facts that you need to know before you set up your aquarium.

* Make sure that the aquarium can support your aquarium glass walk in all movements. Not the children with the climb or hang on the installation of your freshwater aquarium. Sustainability in the position to the table and the aquarium itself is an important factor to consider.

* It is recommended that the container with water for a few days to the leaks and cracks.

* Make sure you support when moving or cleaning the aquarium. Like the majority of glass containers, which are always, it is slippery when wet. Make sure that your aquarium will be cleaned before the repeal of the dry or move your aquarium.

* Since most aquarium supply, before the risk of electrical shock. Before you turn on computers and you should check if the first opening of the wires and broken bulbs. If you do not use computers, which has already been established. Avoid a separate workflow connectivity and without expert knowledge. Make sure that the material is in good condition before using it. Electrical should be above the level of the tank to prevent the flow of water during breaks.

* Keep your aquarium with water and chemicals and cleaning agents with water stabilizers in a safe place, out of reach of children. Even the fish, they can invite the research away.

* Do not immerse or dip your hands when you use the skin of the aquarium. Bacteria, fungi and other chemicals can penetrate the skin, the problems in the future. Use of rubber teeth, if possible.

* The waste in the aquarium must be observed. Improper disposal of chemicals and the plant in May, contamination of water or by water.

About Whale

Whales are marine mammals of order Cetacea which are neither dolphins—members, in other words, of the families Delphinidae or Platanistoidae—nor porpoises. They include the blue whale, the largest living animal. Orcas, colloquially referred to as "killer whales", and pilot whales have whale in their name but for the purpose of biological classification they are actually dolphins. For centuries whales have been hunted for meat and as a source of valuable raw materials. By the middle of the 20th century, large-scale industrial whaling had left many species seriously endangered.

Origins and taxonomy
All cetaceans, including whales, dolphins and porpoises, are descendants of land-living mammals of the Artiodactyl order (even-toed ungulate animals). Both cetaceans and artiodactyl are now classified under the super-order Cetartiodactyla which includes both whales and hippopotamuses. In fact, whales are the closest living relatives of hippos; they evolved from a common ancestor at around 54 million years ago. Whales entered the water roughly 50 million years ago. Cetaceans are divided into two suborders:
* The baleen whales are characterized by baleen, a sieve-like structure in the upper jaw made of keratin, which they use to filter plankton from the water. They are the largest suborder of whale.
* The toothed whales have teeth and prey on fish, squid, or both. An outstanding ability of this group is to sense their surrounding environment through echolocation.

Like all mammals, whales breathe air into lungs, are warm-blooded, feed their young milk from mammary glands, and have some hair, although very little.
The body is fusiform. The forelimbs, also called flippers, are paddle-shaped. The end of the tail holds the fluke, or tail fins, which provide propulsion by vertical movement. Although whales generally do not possess hind limbs, some whales (such as sperm whales and baleen whales) sometimes have rudimentary hind limbs; some even with feet and digits. Most species of whale bear a fin on their backs known as a dorsal fin.
Beneath the skin lies a layer of fat, called blubber. It serves as an energy reservoir and also as insulation. Whales have a four-chambered heart. The neck vertebrae are fused in most whales, which provides stability during swimming at the expense of flexibility. They have a pelvis bone, which is a vestigial structure. Whales breathe through their blowholes, located on the top of the head so the animal can remain submerged. Baleen whales have two; toothed whales have one. The shapes of whales' spouts when exhaling after a dive, when seen from the right angle, differ between species. Whales have a unique respiratory system that lets them stay underwater for long periods of time without taking in oxygen. Some whales, such as the Sperm Whale, can stay underwater for up to two hours holding a single breath. The Blue Whale is the largest known mammal that has ever lived, and the largest living animal, at up to 35 m (105ft) long and 150 tons. Whales generally live for 40–90 years, depending on their species, and on rare occasions can be found to live over a century. Recently a fragment of a lance used by commercial whalers in the 19th century has been found in a bowhead whale caught off Alaska, which showed the whale to be between 115 and 130 years old. Furthermore, a technique for dating age from aspartic acid racemization in the whale eye, combined with a harpoon fragment, indicates an age of 211 years for one male, making bowhead whales the longest lived extant mammal species. Whale flukes often can be used as identifying markings, as is the case for humpback whales. This is the method by which the publicized errant Humphrey the whale was identified in three separate sightings.
A toothed whale, like the sperm whale, possess teeth with cementum cells overlying dentine cells. Unlike human teeth which are comprised mostly of enamel on the tooth portion outside of the gum, whale teeth have cementum outside the gum. Only in larger whales does some enamel show where the cementum has been worn away on the tip of the tooth revealing the underlying enamel.

Anatomy of the ear
Whales' ears have specific adaptations to their underwater environment. In humans, the middle ear works as an impedance matcher between the outside air’s low impedance and the cochlear fluid’s high impedance. In aquatic mammals such as whales, however, there is no great difference between the outer and inner environments. Instead of sound passing through outer ear to middle ear, whales receive sound through their lower jaw, where it passes through a low-impedance, fat-filled cavity.

Whales are widely classed as predators, but their food ranges from microscopic plankton to very large fish. Males are called bulls; females, cows. The young are called calves.
As mammals, whales breathe air and must surface to get oxygen. This is done through a blowhole. Many whales also exhibit other surfacing behaviours such as breaching and tail slapping.
Because of their environment (and unlike many animals), whales are conscious breathers: they decide when to breathe. All mammals sleep, including whales, but they cannot afford to fall into an unconscious state for too long, since they need to be conscious to breathe. It is thought that only one hemisphere of their brains sleeps at a time, so that whales are never completely asleep, but still get the rest they need. This is thought because whales often sleep with only one eye closed.
Whales communicate with each other using lyrical sounds, called whale song. Being so large and powerful, these sounds are also extremely loud (depending on the species); sperm whales have only been heard making clicks, as all toothed whales (Odontoceti) use echolocation and can be heard for many miles. They have been known to generate about 20,000 acoustic watts of sound at 163 decibels.
Females give birth to a single calf. Nursing time is long (more than one year in many species), which is associated with a strong bond between mother and young. In most whales reproductive maturity occurs late, typically at seven to ten years. This mode of reproduction spawns few offspring, but provides each with a high probability of survival in the wild.
The male genitals are retracted into cavities of the body during swimming, so as to be streamlined and reduce drag and to prevent injury. Most whales do not maintain fixed partnerships during mating; in many species the females have several mates each season. At birth newborn are delivered tail-first, minimising the risk of drowning. Whale cows nurse by actively squirting milk the consistency of toothpaste into the mouths of their young preventing loss to the surrounding aquatic environment.

About Blacktip reef shark

The blacktip reef shark, Carcharhinus melanopterus, is a shark of tropical and warm temperate seas.

One of the most common sharks found in shallow (sometimes as shallow as 30 cm) water around coral reefs of Indo-Pacific waters. The water they swim in is usually between 20 and 27° C (70 to 80ยบ F). Unlike, say, bull sharks, blacktip reef sharks do not venture into tropical lakes and rivers far from the ocean.

As its name suggests, the tips of the shark's pectoral fin and dorsal fin are black, with a white underside. Its skin is brownish in color on the top half of its body. It has been recorded at up to 2 m (6.5 ft) in length and over 99 lbs (45 kg) in weight.[1] Its snout is blunt and rounded. The gray reef shark looks similar, and is also common, but is distinguished by its stockier and grey body and its lack of a black tip on the dorsal fin.

A blacktip reef shark's diet consists mainly of reef fish, but they will also feed on rays, crustaceans, cephalopods, and other molluscs.

Reproduction, behavior, and interaction with humans
Reproduction is viviparous, with 2 to 4 pups in a litter. Before giving birth, female blacktip reef s
harks will incubate their young for 16 months. The pups' length at birth ranges from 33 to 52 cm.
This species is not considered social, but can be seen in small groups. While generally shy, they often are curious about snorkelers and scuba
divers. As with most sharks, the body is bent into a sort of "S" shape when the shark feels threatened. Blacktip reef sharks are harmless unless provoked. Incidents generally involve hand feeding or spear fishing, possibly in combination with low visibility.
The blacktip is one of only a few sharks that can jump fully out of the water, a behaviour called breaching. They have also been observed surfacing to look around (spy-hopping).

Population decline
Blacktip reef sharks are often the bycatch from other fisheries and are often wasted. Their populations are declining, and so are the population of many other shark species. Their fins are used for shark fin soup which is a major factor in the population decline in recent years.
